Okay, Im gonna do this right =)

So I think I'm going to start updating this blog like I'm supposed to. I wont just use it as a place to store my favorite photo's. I will still do so, but I will have to intertwine some writing with the photos and all that stuff I suppose. I should probably get this off to a good start and describe just a little bit about myself to "Break the ice" if you know what I mean. =) My name is Charles Richard Kurtz III. Some may still know me by my nickname that I went by during my school years as "CJ" Although as I have gotten into the work place and have started different things I usually now introduce myself as Charles. Although either name will do justice. I'm currently attending A DTS (Discipleship Training School) in Tyler Texas. Its a ranch located somewhere between nowhere and lost. haha just kidding. Its about two hours from Dallas and about 20 minutes or so away from a very old town known as Tyler. So far being here God has really brought me to my knees, and after that he stood me right back up. I must say that my entire life and outlook on things has totally been eradicated since I have got here. Now I haven't turned into a condemning christian because well first of all I never believed that was what a real christian was (Although I really didn't know what a real one was in the first place)This base here in Texas has shown me the secretes though, and some I have known all along and never chose to believe it. Being a christian is NOT a religion in the least bit. There are thousands of people that "Fallow" the religion of Christianity, bu there are so many who are missing out because its so much more than that. Its a relationship between ones self and the creator of the universe! I know it sounds odd but what good is head knowledge? You can read the bible every day and go to church for all the services, but you wont go anywhere unless you genuinely pray and grow in the Lord. Asking for His guidance ever day "Not just when you need him." And its just amazing how he provides and interacts with your life every day if you just open the door and allow him to. Its so simple, yet very few people have the will and patience to do something so simple yet so life altering.haha wow. I really went off the beaten path here didn't I =) Hope I didn't lose you all there. Anyways I am currently loving life! I really do miss home and my friends but I am truly enjoying this season of my life. Movies and games are always a blast in my opinion. I would claim to be a gamer nerd if I could but i don't think I fit the roll very well. I went to High-school, played Rugby (the best sport in the world) went to youth group and worked full time just about. So I had a but too much of a social life (If that's what you want to call it) to be a totally obsessed gamer. Although don't get me wrong I have done my time behind a keyboard or controller. I also have many interests in life, I love looking at the small details in things because for me, its thousands of small things that make the bigger picture in life. So I just love to study and analyze everything down to the core, noticing every element and small detail. Maybe that's why I enjoy Photography. Its so powerful. If you have a good eye and angle, you can capture the sheer energy of a moment. The momentum of an instant can be so beautiful, and even though a photo cant talk to you with a tangible voice, it can speak in so many other ways just buy looking and appreciating it. I also enjoy pondering and thinking. I would have to say at times I am a bit of an introvert at heart. I love to just get away from it all sit everything down at a table and (Doesn't mean a literal table)and just think everything over. I think at times it can be bad to think about negative things for long time spans but it has its benefits at times.I can also be extroverted in the right settings if I am comfortable and I can be myself and trust the people around me, i do have crazy wild moments where my friends and I make hilarious short clips of ourselves doing oddly hilarious things but I find it to be fun. It may seem to be a bit childish but I think if your having fun in life and it doesn't hurt you or others, then GO FOR IT! (Never be afraid to be a kid at heart)I also love writing and thinking about playing and instrument, I am attempting to pick up the guitar here but its an interesting instrument. So I will have to see how far I get with that. I also love anything that has to be with Disney. I love Pixar films and Dream works. There is always just a creative outburst with these organizations. i would love to be involved with them one of these days. maybe I can retire in Florida with my old but beautiful wife and be the old man that assists people on and off the rides in one of the Disney parks. =) I feel as though I have written a lot and I'm sure I have but there is just so much more that i would love to write down. I suppose through my updates you will get a descant picture as to whom I really am and you can make up a picture about who you think I am. Thank You for taking your time out to read some of or all of this. =)
